Partnership with Fulbright

In June 2022, Íslandsþari signed an MoU agreement with Fulbright to collaborate on funding research grants and offering research projects for students and scholars with the aim of increasing knowledge on seaweed processing.
With this partnership, Íslandsþari is contributing to strengthening the arrival of American scholars for teaching and research at educational institutions in Iceland. The University of Akureyri will participate in this collaboration and provide facilities for scholars coming from the United States. Fulbright, Íslandsþari, and the University of Akureyri hope to build a richer knowledge in this field through this partnership.
